New Age and Solo Pianists
John Nilsen is a pianist, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter and one of the Pacific Northwest’s most successful performance and recording artists. Nilsen is a prolific performer. Over the past thirty-five years, he has averaged 225 shows a year, performing as a solo pianist, solo guitarist and as a member of his two bands. Nilsen is a native of the Pacific Northwest, born in Seattle and raised primarily in Portland. He is heard on many streaming services.
Based in Berlin, Hior Chronik was born in Athens in 1974. He began creating music about 10 years ago and today his focus is on minimal ambient based mainly on piano, characterized by cinematography, melancholy, scattered notes and long melodies that form expressive engagements. He is heard on many streaming platforms including itunes, spotify and many others. His music here is peaceful and piano based. Hior is currently playing in Europe with a new solo album “Out of the Dust”.
David started playing Piano at the age of 14. He studied classical music at the Music School in the “Civic Music Institute of Alba” (Italy) and later at the A. Vivaldi Conservatory in Alessandria (Italy). In 2012, he moved to London and started a different journey by assimilating “composition” experience and musical knowledge. David devotes himself exclusively to what he feels born to do - play piano, compose music, and share his gift with others.
Paul Sutfin is a musician and painter based in Portland, Oregon. He likes his art and is not easily pigeonholed. When asked what kind of music he plays on the piano, he responds with a question: “Does everything have to have a name?" Paul has created hundreds paintings, invents his own methods, and makes his living by it. His piano work is often titled by the day he wrote the piece. His music is classical, ethereal, and hauntingly beautiful.
Fiona lives in a small village in Australia, but loves to tour having played at the Carnegie Recital Hall in NYC, the New Orleans Jazz Museum, Sydney Opera House, and the Los Angeles County Grammy Museum. She is heard on all streaming platforms and has several audio CDs available. Fiona is inspired by Felix Mendelessohn, Frederic Chopin, George Winston, Ludavico Einaudi, and Michael Nyman among others.
Ryan has performed around the Front Range of Colorado, including as a featured soloist with the Front Range Chamber Players. Ryan frequently concertizes in homes and churches locally and nationally, and is in demand as a guest pianist and conductor. He works as an independent arranger and composer and also maintains a full private piano studio. Current projects include plans for future albums, arranging and composing for SATB choir and collaborating with songwriters for studio sessions.
Laura enjoys great popularity around the world, not only for her award winning New Age, Classical, and Ambient music, but also for her warm and loving spirit. In addition to being a Grammy® winning and Billboard Top 10 Artist in New Age, her original Classical and Ambient music has been included in the score of two Emmy winning documentaries, as well as in many popular television programs and advertisements for Fortune 500 companies.
Isaac Shepard is a pianist and composer who lives in Orange County, California. He has composed and performed for over 25 years, released ten piano albums, written music for over a dozen games, and composed hundreds of songs across many genres. He runs The Music Maze, a site to help independent musicians navigate the music business, and owns Shepard Audio, an indie record label and music publishing company.
Paddy writes its own personal story through the use of traditional instruments and experimental recording techniques, offering a deluge of emotional and sincere beauty. He has a BSc degree in Music Production at Limerick Institute Of Technology. Paddy is inspired by the similarities and contrasts between pianos and synthesizers, and this relationship was conveyed through the use of various recording and mixing techniques.
Jeff’s nontraditional method of composition has remained basically the same during the past forty years. He sits at the piano, plays spontaneously from the heart, and stops to develop any musical themes that surprise him. He confesses, “Sometimes I feel like a third party, listening to the whole process as an interested observer!” These original works interweave delicacy with intensity, combine musical notes with the space between them, and create pictures that move the emotions.
William Ögmundson is an award winning and EMMY-nominated composer and lyricist, and a classically-trained solo pianist. William began performing at the age of 5, and went on to win numerous piano competitions. He was selected to be the featured pianist for the New Hampshire Music Festival Orchestra on four separate occasions. William has performed at venues throughout North America and Europe including the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
Pam Asberry has a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano performance and piano pedagogy and has worked with hundreds of piano students over the years. She found her way to the genre of neoclassical, aka “New Age,” solo piano music. She bought recordings and sheet music by the likes of George Winston, David Lanz, and Wayne Gratz and spent many happy hours both listening and playing. She now composes her own songs.
Sophie Hutchings is an Australian pianist/composer. Flitting from the soothing, idyllic, and melancholy to urgent and tempestuous, her music sits comfortably alongside that of Max Richter, Peter Broderick, Johann Johannsson, Dustin O'Halloran, and the seminal post-classical group Rachel's. Sophie’s compositions sway from the disarmingly spare and elegant to the romantic and epic, with a fragility that manages to be both calm and exquisite but always pushing forward.

Lynn Tredeau is an American musician who lives and performs in the Pacific Northwest. Lynn found her calling in the world of New Age and Solo Piano music. She is a Whisperings and Enlightened Piano Artist, and has received numerous nominations and awards for her albums. Lynn composes original contemporary instrumental music to tell life's stories. The music of this composer and piano artist has been described as "beautiful and relaxing".
Louis Landon is a composer and Steinway artist. Formerly of New York and currently living in Sedona, Arizona, Louis has dedicated his life to music. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry. Louis is a solo piano recording artist for peace. His mission is to create a more loving and peaceful world by writing, recording, and performing music from the heart.
Alessandra Celletti comes from a purely classical background. She made her debut in 1994 with “Les sons et les parfums”, a collection of recordings dedicated to Debussy, Ravel and Satie. In 2006 Alessandra imposed herself as author with the album: “Chi mi darà le ali” (“Who will give me wings”). She also remains a valued interpreter of a vast repertoire that includes compositions of Janáček, Gurdjieff/de Hartmann, Scott Joplin and Philip Glass.
Danny Wright, the pianist and composer, makes music that touches and uplifts people every day, all over the globe. As one of the nation’s finest pianist/composers, Danny’s many recordings defy classification. He specializes in several music styles: Adult Contemporary Piano, New Age, Classical, Broadway show tunes, and Film music. He is a Steinway artist, and performs extensively, tailoring programs to his audiences’ tastes for each event. He has played many of the finest venues and symphonies in the world.

He is a prizewinner in the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition, the Bösendorfer International Piano Competition, the Steinway Society of Chicago’s Most Promising Young Artist Competition, and of Arizona State University’s Concert of Soloists Competition. Szczepanek is the Founder and Artistic Director of Arts at Ascension, a concert series that benefits fine arts education for underprivileged students in inner-city schools.
